Agriculture is the largest and oldest industry in the world, this is a sector, where you can decide how you want to make your money from it. The greatest need of a man is food,no nation of the world, can operate without this sector.
Farming is the easiest form of investment, for new entrepreneurs, currently farmers have lots of advantages in the Nigerian economy. Here are a couple of ways to make money in farming
- SEEDS; this is an important part of farming, because traders, farmers and final consumers would always be in demand for seeds all through the year
- Buying and Storing: this is a part for those who buy the harvested crops, store them and resell.
- Labourers Group: in this aspect,a group of people, come together,to form a team and work for the commercial farmer for a fee. farm owners can’t do without this group, they charge the owners depending on the size of the farm.
- Food Processing: this aspect involves traders or companies who deal with farmers directly.they buy harvested crops, process it and sell it.for example, buying of Cassava from farmers, processing it into Garri, bagging it and selling in the supermarket.
Im sure the above tips will be useful in investing in agriculture this year.
